University of Jos Resumes Examinations After Fire Incident

University of Jos Continues Examinations After Fire Incident.

The University of Jos (UNIJOS) Senate has given the approval for the first semester examination for the 2015/2016 session to continue.

This approval came after the examinations were postponed due to the fire outbreak that brought down the whole library complex of the Naraguta Campus.

Decisions from the emergency meeting that was held on Monday, the Senate gave directions that all examinations should continue on Tuesday 11th October, 2016, via a statement that was signed by Monday Danjem, the institution’s registrar.

In the new schedule of the examination time table, all the examinations that was scheduled for Monday, 10th October, had been moved to another date.

All of those students who have no where to write their examinations due to the fire incident have been advised to talk to their Heads of Department who would tell them what to do and where to write their examinations.

On the other hand, the students whose answer scripts were burnt by the fire would have their examinations moved to a later date, which will be communicated to them by their Heads of Department.
