UEFA Champions League Draw: Arsenal to Meet Bayern Munich Again
The Fixtures for the knockout stage of the 2016–17 UEFA Champions League has been drawn with Arsenal to face Bayern Munich again.
The knockout stage will commence from the 14th February and finishes on the 3rd of June 2017, with the final match to be played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
This is the fifth time that Arsenal have been paired with Bayern Munich in the Champions league both in the group and knockout stage.
However, things might be different this season as Bayern looks very vulnerable and the Gunners looks better to break the years of German curse on them.
In other fixtures that were drawn, England champions, Leicester City, were paired with Sevilla, PSG will host Barcelona as Real Madrid prepares to take on Napoli.
A total of 16 teams will commence the knockout stages.
The team that scores more goals on aggregate over the two legs advance to the next round. If the aggregate score is level, the away goal rule is applied.
