Troops Rescue 19 Women, 19 Children From Boko Haram.

On Tuesday, troops of the Eight Task Force Division saved many women and children in an operation known as  ‘Operation Hard Knock’ in Borno State, brought up to rid pockets of Boko Haram terrorists still hiding in remote areas.

the 19 women and 19 children who were held captives were saved in northern Borno State, along the Nigeria-Niger borders.

As the operation continues, troops got rid of Boko Haram insurgents from their hideouts in Momo and Tunshe villages around Marte general area of Borno state.

The terrorists held the women and children hostage by the terrorists  in Dumba village.

While the rescue operation was on, the troops murdered six boko haram members while the rest of them ran for their lives with 22 of them staying behind with gunshot wounds.

Before then, troops of the Operation Lafiya Dole sent out a check point in Gubio, Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State which prevented a suicide attack on Gubio town by eight Boko Haram terrorists.

The incident took place at about 9:10 am on Tuesday morning.

The suicide bombers came in a pickup vehicle stuck with Improvised Explosive Devices including suicide vests.

They tried to force their way through the check up mounted by the troop but met strong resistance from troops that said they must run a thorough check on the vehicle.

The suicide bomber disagreed and blew up themselves by triggering the vest of another suicide bomber killing the entire eight Boko Haram suicide bomber on board.
