There are signs of continuous tension in some Southern Kaduna Communities of Rimi, Kitakum, Ungwan Magaji and Kigam communities all located in Kauru LGA of Kaduna state.
It is roughly sevens ago that some gunmen who are suspected to be herdsmen carried out an attack which left more than 32 people dead.
The gunmen attacked a total of four communities on Sunday 14th November, 2016, murdering over 32 people, and razed down not less than 100 houses and farmlands.
A visit made by our source to the local government today, made it very clear that people living in the area have left their homes to other neighboring communities in Nasarawa, Abuja and Plateau States respectively pending when normal activities will be restored in the area.
Security agencies have so far responded positively by sending in some other their operatives to the areas affected, but the people living in the communities are terrified of coming back to their homes due to fear of another attacks by the gunmen.
Reports has it that the gunmen carried out their attacks in the communities when everyone were fast asleep.
Activities in schools, shops, and other economic activities have been completely paralyzed, while the few people who have no where to go are been looked after by the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) at a primary school located in Chawai chiefdom.
