SOUTHERN KADUNA KILLINGS: Fulani Herdsmen Strikes Again, this Time at Deputy Governor’s LGA

In less than a day after 15 people were murdered in Ungwan Rana Community of Chikun LGA, five more persons have been murdered in Kaura LGA, which is the Local Government Area of the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Barnabas Bala Bantex.

During an interview with Channels Television, Bantex made it clear that the killing currently going on in the Southern part of Kaduna is being carried out by those Fulani Herdsmen who lost so much of their possessions and lives of their loved ones during the crisis that occurred after the 2011 elections.

He also further explained that the payment being made by the state governor to the killer herdsmen wasn’t meant in any way to persuade them to stop the killings going on in the area.

There had since been serious condemnation all over the media due to the comments Bantex made on Channels Tv concerning the massacre in Southern Kaduna.

A total of 15 persons were killed in Chikun community which happened only a few days after Bantex had a live interview with Channels TV, it was reported that five persons were also killed in his home town, Kaura.

There were photos released by those living in the area on the mass burials of the people killed at Attakar Chiefdom: Tachira and Makabun communities of Kaura LGA are pathetic.
