NNPC shutsdown Recruitment Portal, commences shortlisting of applicants

On Wednesday, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), shut down its portal for ongoing recruitment exercise and commenced the shortlisting of applicants.

The corporation’s spokesman, Ndu Ugahmadu, made this known in a statement in Abuja.

It was reported that the portal was opened on March 13th.

The NNPC recently placed adverts to recruit some categories of new hands so as to help strengthen its operations nationwide.

The categories are listed as: Graduate Trainee; Senior officer and Supervisory Cadre and Managerial Cadre.

“The first phase of the current recruitment process by the NNPC which began via nationwide advertisements in the national dailies and online media on Wednesday, 13th March, 2019 came to an end midnight of Tuesday with the closure of the corporation’s application portal,” he stated.

He made it known that the second phase to the recruitment exercise which involves the shortlisting of all qualified applicants had begun.

He further added that all qualified applicants would be called upon to participate in a computer-based aptitude tests.

He also stated that the test would be carried out in about 50 centres all across the nation.

“Those who comes out successful in the tests would subsequently be invited for oral interviews for final selection,” Mr Ugahmadu stated.

  1. I was curious if you ever considered changing the page layout of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?
