Nigerians Struggles to Celebrate Sallah, Despite Harsh Economic Challenges.
Tomorrow is the big day for the Muslims in Nigeria and the world at large. So many persons have been finding it difficult to keep up with the high rates of commodities in the market due to the recent downfall of the nations economy.
Kaduna News Online visited some stores and markets in and around Kaduna metropolis to know how people have been coping with the high rates of products in the market.
So many people complained bitterly about how hard it has been to purchase anything in the market and still owing to the fact that Sallah is here already. Rams are very expensive, almost two times much more than what it costs last year, a bag of rice has sky rocketed and the list goes on and on.
The amazing thing about this is that Nigerians as hardworking and resilient as they are will always find a way around things. Despite the fact that so many people are complaining about the rise of prices of commodities, people are packed full in various markets shopping for the Sallah celebration.
Most people even go as far as purchasing smaller sizes or rams to mark the celebration.
Kaduna News Online wishes the entire people of Kaduna State and Nigeria a joyous Sallah celebration.
