Nigerian Pastor Sentenced to Nine Years in Prison for Fraud in UK.
Samuel Kayode, who is a part time pastor and also an accountant who resides in the United Kingdom, has been sent to nine years in jail for stealing a total sum of £4.1million.
He was sentenced on Friday by a Court in South London for fraud carried out on Haberdashers’ Aske’s state schools in the UK.
Mr Kayode, who is a part-time pastor earns the sum of £57, 000 per annu. He was arrested after being found guilty of stealing £150,000 and £3.95million fraud.
From the £4.1million he stole, the sum of £800, 000 was been recovered from him.
It was also discovered that Mr Kayode spent the most of the most of the stolen money on four different women, his wife, a second ‘wife’ in Nigeria, and alongside two other women who lives in the UK.
James Thacker, who is a British prosecutor, made it known that he bought some expensive cars like Mercedes, an Audi TT sports car and an Infiniti car, all with the stolen money.
