Manchester United gives New Manager £50m to sign two players in January

Manchester United have handed £50million to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is their new manager to bring two centre-backs when the transfer windows is declared open in January.

The manager was appointed on 2days ago as the Manchester United’s caretaker manager until the end of the season after Jose Mourinho’s sack.

Mourinho’s stay at Old Trafford ended with a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool which leaves the club 19 points behind Liverpool and also 11 points off fourth-placed, Chelsea on the Premier League table.

Daily Mirror stated that one of the main priorities of the Red Devils is signing a new centre-back in the month of January.

On the other hand, a confirmation was made by Napoli yesterday that Jose Mourinho made a £95million bid for centre-back, Kalidou Koulibaly before he was sacked by Manchester United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping to lead Manchester United to victory when they take on Cardiff City this weekend in the Premier League.
