Kaduna NUJ Charges DITV To Pay Workers Salary Arrears ,Allowances .

The management of Desmins Independent Television Kaduna (DITV) has been urged to pay salary arrears and allowances of its workers This charge was made by the Chairman of Nigerian Union of Journalist  kaduna ,Comrade Adamu Yusuf .

Comrade Yusuf also enjoined the management of the media outfit to reopen the station which was shutdown two weeks ago .

According to the NUJ Chairman , in view of the fact that the station has high number of audiences , it is very relevant to reopen the station .He than advised that the management prioritize payment of staff salaries and allowances so as to enhance better and qualitative service .

The NUJ boss who was accompanied by the Secretary to the Union, Dauda  were on a visit to DITV premises to press home the issue of prompt payment of staff salary arrears and allowances .

Welcoming the the NUJ Boss and Secretary , Director News and Current Affairs, DITV/Alheri Radio, Malam Shuaibu Gimi thanked  the Chairman for his  concern and assured him that the management of DITV has taken positive steps that would soon ameliorate the problem of salary arrears of staffs .

Gimi further stated that the station would be  reopened soon .
