KADUNA KILLINGS: Government is not doing enough – NLC
Ayubba Wabba, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, stated on Tuesday that the unending crisis in the Southern Part of Kaduna is a clear indication of bad governance.
Wabba, who stated this on Tuesday made an appeal to the Federal government to end the killings immediately.
Describing the crisis in Kaduna as very sad, Wabba said, “It is really a sad one and it shows that the government is not doing enough, and for us organized labor, it is something that we are concerned about.
“At a point in time, the issues faced in Southern Kaduna was tackled.
“There came an administration in the state that was unable to find a lasting solution on the issue but suddenly peace returned back to the area.
“The issue is starting to return in full force, which indicates that something is wrong somewhere.
“It is high time that a lasting solution is worked on for the interest of the citizens.
“Whatever the rumor or argument is won’t solve the problem at hand until our government takes full responsibility and address the issue, and anything aside that is a total failure on their part.
“Governance is all about responsibilities; and one of the purpose of governance anywhere on planet earth is total security and peace of the people,”
