HAJJ 2016: Kaduna Commences Bringing Back of Pilgrims to Nigeria.
The Welfare Board of the Kaduna State Pilgrims has started the transportation of Muslim Pilgrims back to the country from Mecca, Yunusa Abdullahi, who is the Public Relations Officer of the Board, made this known.
He stated this to our source on Sunday in Mecca, that the return of the pilgrims back home began successfully after the Hajj rites was done successfully by the Muslims from the state.
According to Mr Yunusa, a total of 489 pilgrims are already in Jeddah and will be coming back home through Flynas Airline.
He also said that the first flight of pilgrims would be leaving on Sunday, the 18th of September.
Mr. Abdullahi further said that the second flight of pilgrims are currently being screened and would leave for Jeddah on Sunday for their journey back to Nigeria.
He explained that the airline is so serious about making sure that the pilgrims follow all the laid down rules, stating that their belongings were also weighed to make sure that they follow the 40 kg rule.
He then advised the Muslim pilgrims to respect the policy of the main and also hand luggage which states 32 kg and 8 kg respectively.
They were all being advised not to also take along with them items such as toys, guns, sharp objects, firearms, flammable objects, and explosives in their luggage.
According to Mr Yunusa Abdullahi, if everyone correctly follows the policies and rules which were been laid down, there won’t be any delay with their journey back to the Country.
He made a call on the pilgrims not to take along with them Zam Zam water in their luggage, assuring them that five liters of the water would be made available to them as soon as they arrive Nigeria
He prayed for journey mercies of the pilgrims back to Nigeria.
