Governor El-Rufai stoned by angry Youths in Kaduna as crisis breaks out in Malali
Governor El-Rufa’i was said to have been stoned by angry Youths yearning for revenge in Ungwan Gado area in Kaduna.
Kaduna News Online learnt Governor El-Rufa’i came there on hearing that there in Tension in the area so as help restore peace between the two worrying community, resulting from the gruesome murder of a teenager, on Sunday afternoon.
The stoning of the state Governor happened around 9pm, amidst tight security Presence deployed to the area to help control the rising tension.
Information reaching us by an eyewitness, confirmed that on the governor’s arrival the angry youths started stoning and chanting ‘ba mu so’ meaning ‘we don’t want you’ in Hausa.
Kaduna News Online learnt that Crisis between the communities all located in Malali a suburb in Kaduna, started when some miscreant hausa youths popularly referred to as ‘Kaura’ stabbed a Christian teenager to death at a public gathering they all attended.
Efforts to reach Samuel Aruwan, El-Rufai’s spokesman and the Kaduna State Police PRO, Zubairu Abubakar to comment on the issue was unsuccessful as neither of them answered their call.

Observation showed that Hausa traders were mostly absent in Yam Market located around Sabon-Tasha on Tuesday, a 100% Christian community as rumours of the crisis spread throughout Kaduna.
