FRSC recruits over 4500 personnel; training commences nationwide

The Federal Road Safety Corps, has commenced its training for the newly recruited persons.

Bisi Kazeem, who is the FRSC spokesperson, made it known via an exclusive chat on Thursday night that those successful candidates have so far been contacted through the email with which they applied.

Mr. Kazeem who made it known that a total of 4650 of the successful candidates have commenced training in three locations across the country.

The locations so far for the training are Enugu, Jos and Kontagora. They are in FRSC academy, Udi Enugu; inspectorate cadre in Training school Jos; and Marshal’s cadre in Nigeria Army Training Centre, Kontagora.

The spokesperson for the FRSC made it clear that the exercise for the whole process was transparent, with physical screening, Jamb test and Interview.

He further stated that the training will last for a period of 6 months and would also include a one-month internship.

The FRSC commenced the recruitment late May 2018 through an online portal.

In November, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) carried out a recruitment examination for the almost 15,000 candidates who were shortlisted for the recruitment.

The examination was done at the board’s Computer Based Test (CBT) centres located all across the country.
