Fed Govt to Use N12b to Rebuild Northeast
The Federal Government of Nigeria have stated that they’ve reserved N12Billion in the 2016 budget so as to help rebuild the northeast.
Senator Udo Udoma, who is the Minister of Budget & National Planning, made the figure known on Friday during an event launching of the Reports for 2016 National Human Development on Nigeria.
Senator Udo Udoma, stated that due to the reports of the United Nations Development Program’s 2016 Human Security, the current administration has included the entire Nigerians at the middle of it’s developmental program so as to get rid of the factors that is threatening the security of lives and properties.
The Minister further stated that the government have put in place some measures to ensure a more better standard of living for all citizens, which will on the other hand create development and a better security in the Nation.
Present during the event were some top government officials, civil society groups, diplomats and activists.
