Boko Haram Kidnapped Women, Kills Vigilantes In Borno.
Some members of the Boko Haram have murdered four persons and also kidnapped four women from a village called Kutuva, which is located at the Northeastern state Borno.
The terrorists launched the attacked on the village with six motorcycles on Tuesday, a statement which was issued by Colonel Sani Usman, the spokesman for the army, stated.
Just immediately after the attack was carried out, the local vigilante in Kaya came together quickly and followed the terrorists to what is suspected as their hideout which is located around south of Sabon Garin Bale.
The both groups (Terrorists and vigilante) engaged themselves in a gun fight, before they all ran into a bush nearby. The terrorists camp and all hoisted Boko Haram flags were all being destroyed by the local vigilante.
Items that were recovered by the local vigilante are: two AK-45 rifle magazines, 24 rounds of 7.62mm (NATO) ammunition, three Fabrique Nationale (FN) rifle magazines.
Colonel Usman also made it known that the vigilantes were able to rescue an 11 year-old girl who made it very clear that the terrorist kidnapped hher from Batha Village.
“On a sad note, the local vigilate was not able to trace the Boko Haram terrorist nor the women that were abducted.
“There are seriously efforts in place to rescue the women,” he stated.
