Boko Haram Ambushes Army Troops in Borno.

The Nigerian Army has stated that some soldiers have gone missing after some Boko Haram terrorists ambushed them in Borno State.

The Army gave an explanation in a statement, that the ambush happened while the soldiers were coming back to their location used for defense after carrying out an Operation clear insurgents at Guro Gongon Village.

The statement also adds that the operation that was carried out in Guro Gongon Village left the terrorists makeshift camps of different weapons destroyed. These weapons includes: Motorcycles, an anti-aircraft gun, and an armored personnel carrier.

Unluckily for the troops, a total number of 19 soldiers and 3 Joint Task Force members were badly injured during the attack.

The Army promised that they would make sure that everyone who took part in the operation will be found and accounted for. Special forces have also been sent out to find the missing soldiers.
