Ten thousand persons have been coopted to benefit in dry season farming of tomatoes and other fruits in Kaduna state, says the state chairman of Fadama Farmers in Kaduna state Alhaji Ahmad Mohammed.
Speaking exclusively to kabido news, the chairman said the state government had already distributed forms to members who will help in boosting the farming of the produce in the state.
Alhaji Mohammed who thanked the Kaduna state government in helping boost agriculture also said that efforts should be made in the area of agriculture more viable in the state.
On the recent crisis in the state, he added that “unless there is peace in state no meaningful gain can be made in the area of agriculture.”
He praised the efforts of the state government in bringing peace to the state as he called on the people to live in peace with one another.
